Description

The PHC is fenced and spacious with three building but these buildings do not look attractive. There is no security officer neither is there a sign board or post to indicate the presence of a PHC. The water supply alternative found in this facility is a well water which water is dirty, the electricity supply is erratic. The facility has two abandoned buildings which used to be the drug store for the state. The toilet is dirty, a part of the ward is used as dumping space for damaged furniture, and the big leather beds do not have bedsheets, as its leather has started peeling off. The PHC has a small donated generator but the generator is only useful during delivery if the patient agrees to fuel it, or rechargeable lamps will be used. The PHC does not have injection room, laboratory and a drug store; therefore the facility only conducts blood and urine test.
