Description

The facility is a small one which has never been renovated since its construction in 2003, having just five staff ( two health assistants and three CHEW); and four settlement under it. There are no hospitals either rural or private within its territory to refer patients to. The borehole water supply adjacent the entrance is damaged and the well water which is to serve as alternative is of no use because the water is unclean.
Staff have two room separated in the facility where they live and a kitchen. The mattresses do not have bed-sheets with just a pillow. The community has been without light for decades until recently that they have been given a transformer which has not been connected to electricity. The toilet building has gone underground. There is a small generator but has not been in use because fueling the generator has been a problem as there are no filling stations around the vicinity neither do they have the money for fueling. The PHC lacks equipment for urine and sputum tests; however, the only test conducted is malaria test. They rarely have a delivery case because of the pitiable state of the facility.
