Description

Phc Nteje is located at Oyi Local government area with four villages in its coverage area and three health
post.
The phc is close to an unnamed private hospital medical supplies are obtained from neighborhood
market and rarely from the government. The phc is centrally located and linked to Nnamdi Azikiwe
university Teaching hospital Umunya and its about four kilometers away from it.
No Records to show the number of patients admitted between March and April 2018, eleven babies
were born during the same period.
Public electric supply is poor, and water is non existent in the phc, generator provides light during
deliveries. Minor surgeries except sputum are conducted by the staff.
The phc is housed as bungalows and does not need rehabilitation as it was last renovated in 2017.
The phc has about six beds which were poorly dressef. It has electricity backup supply source which is
not in a working condition with no independent electricity meter.
The phc has an ambulance that has not been used.
Staffing at the phc,Medical officers, CHEW and AMW run the phc , while pharmacist, laboratory
technician and driver are non existent.
A fifty year old patient Okwuchukwu Anigbogu says services rendered at the phc are commendable.
