Description

A 1998 fenced bungalow in Isale Akao, Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government is the six beds hospital. With service to 5 major communities, the clinic offers immunization, family planning, delivery, ante and post natal, and treatment of minor ailments.

The exterior of the building is averagely neat but the inside is not different form an asylum; highly congested and poorly arranged.

Electrical and water facilities are in place and generator is available for use. Staff and patients have since adopted 'shot-put' because the toilets are roofless, thereby rendering them useless.

For Igangan six beds hospital, only two beds are available for use in average condition. There are no facilities for medical tests and the alternative transport arrangement in case of referral is the obligation of the patients.

Patients are not admitted at the center and there is neither a Pharmacist nor Community Health Extension Workers.
