Description

The Idere PHC is located at Malate- Idere in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Water supply is at zero level; the well-water at the Center brings forth water only during rainy season and at the other season, relatives of patients fetch water from home.

No ambulance service; referrals to Igboora General Hospital (more than 5 kilometres away) and any other private clinic are through private and commercial transport usually arranged by relatives of the patients.

Though the Center opens 24 hours in a day but torch and lanterns are used at night due to poor power supply and unavailability of generator.

Services render as at the Center are: immunization, family planning, delivery, ante and post natal, and treatment of minor ailments.
The PHC has majorly two buildings with no evidence of recent renovation. A Pit latrine toilet of 4 units is unavailable for use at the Center.

For admittance for not more than a day, there are only 3 beds without bed-sheets. There is no laboratory service whatsoever. No pharmacist and no laboratory technician at Idere PHC.
