In what can be described as a twist, PHC Kurgwi which is situated in a community where there is electricity, has been without power supply though the surrounding neighbourhood enjoys power. According to the officer in charge, "who will draw the light for us or pay the bills"?, a million Naira question, you might say. A dilapidated staff quarters is another nightmare standing at the side of the PHC; the situation so bad such that only one staff (who probably is without an option) is living in it, though it can house more people if it were in good condition.
