Primary Health Centre Okpuno Otolo Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to Mrs. Onwukike C.C, Okpuno Otolo has a total population of 908 and covers 4 kindred. It is linked to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital with Ikedife Hospital as a close by hospital.
According to Mrs. Onwukike the facility gets its supply from the local government and is 3km away from the teaching hospital.
She complained of the bad road network leading to the PHC and the community members not patronizing the facility and inadequate manpower.
The PHC has an independent building which was renovated earlier in 2018 by the community, the facility has an irregular electricity supply.
At this point we couldn’t assess the facility anymore as the officer-in-charge asked that we get a written note from the local government before she goes further to let us assess the building.
