Igu community is located in Bwari, a suburb town in the Federal Capital Territory. The Primary Health Centre Igu serves the whole of the community and some other villages around. Though, the building is not dilapidated, the facility lacks equipment to make it functional. A nurse on duty, Eunice Gagare said the facility does not serve the people of the community appropriately due to lack of basic amenities and equipment.She said, the facility had never had light so when it time to deliver a pregnant woman, they make use of their torchlight and phone light. she complained that both the torch light and phone light are off due to lack of light to charge them.
