Description
The PHC is relatively sufficient, as most of the facilities are in place. It has regular power supply, a generating set and solar panels, as well as readily available water supply. Its services include antenatal, child delivery, post-natal and others, as well as an Anti-HIV/AIDS Youth Friendly Centre.It seems to enjoy special support from the Akwa Ibom State Government, as it is situated only 300metres from the Government House.
It is the only PHC in Uyo LGA that offers sputum test in addition to blood and urine tests.
